Tips for working from home
Many of us are now spending part of our working week based in 'home offices'. Here are some ideas/tips to keep your body happy.
MOVE being the top tip, change where and how you are seated regularly, set up a 'standing' workstation, all it takes is a sturdy cardboard box on the kitchen table or bench to get your computer at standing height. Experiment with it to get the ideal set up. Change from seated to standing throughout your day.
CORRECT/ADJUST- your posture often. Set a timer on your phone for every 30mins. When the alarm goes off 'internalize' yourself for a moment scan your body for any unnecessary tension and relax that area, check on how you are sitting on your seat make sure your body weight is even through both glutes into the chair.
BREAK - often, get up and fill your water bottle, have a cuppa, take a brisk walk around the block. Plenty of well timed breaks will increase productivity
HYDRATE - water, water, water, water.......
